Bolt was released in November of 2008, and it is expected to be one of the most popular movies of the year. Naturally, that means a lot of kids are going to want to integrate Bolt into their everyday lives, and one such way to do that is with a Bolt themed birthday party.
You may be getting stressed at the prospect of holding a Bolt themed birthday party, but it can be an easy task when you use these birthday party ideas and some imagination.
Design a Super Hero Animal
This is a fun activity for the kids and it helps put their imagination to work for them. All you have to do is cut out a series of animals in cardboard, ranging from horses and chickens to dogs and cats. Then, each kid can choose the animal they want (so make lots) and then they can paint and color the cutout to design the super hero animal they want. They can even name them.
A Super Hero Show
Once the super hero cut outs are designed, you can have the kids perform a quick play using the super hero animal cut outs. This is a great activity because it will now help the kids take their creativity even further by creating a super hero persona and story to go with the super hero animal that they created. It can also be highly entertaining and it is unlikely anyone won’t enjoy this great activity during the Bolt birthday party.
Baking Treats
This next activity involves everyone and it can actually help make the world a better place. There are plenty of recipes on the internet for making special dog treats from scratch. Have the kids help you make a big batch, and then you can feed them to the animals in the house. Once you have done that, tell the kids that you are going to take those left-over treats to the local animal shelter so that the other animals can have a happy ‘birthday’ too. It is a small gesture that may have a big effect for the kids.
Bolt is going to be a hit, there is no doubt about that and you can expect that your kids will ask for a Bolt theme birthday party. With some supplies and a bit of out of the box thinking, you can make a great birthday for everyone.

Does your connection crawl? I bet it does buddy, just try these few simple tweaks, lets get you fixed today. The following tweaks and modifications are the ones I personally perform to my Cable connection after fresh installing windows.
Note-This Guide works with DSL and Cable Connections!
The first thing I like to do is run over to Control Panel > Network Connections and “right click” Local Area Connection (Your primary connection)
Then I Uncheck:
“Client for Microsoft Networks”
“File and Printer Sharing For Microsoft Networks”
“QoS Packet Scheduler”
Then I like to install LVLLORD’S TCP PATCH…. (Read more info below)
Microsoft Limited TCP connections in SP2 to 10! Regain lost speed by applying lvllord’s patch. Just download the patcher and execute it. It will automatically find the windows directory and ask, if it should increase/decrease. Enter C and change the value to 100, and confirm your changes. After a successful patch, the new TCPIP.SYS will be automatically installed. Restart your computer
After I get my Tcp nicely patched, I move on and Tweak my windows xp registry settings to unleash my cable connection’s real potential. Don’t be worried if I said “I tweak my registry”, You wont have to manually edit it because I use a great free tool called Cablenut!
So you downloaded CableNut? Good! Now you are ready to start getting information to use with the program.
The first value that you will need to calculate is the Maximum Anticipated Latency of your connection. To do this, you will use the trace route command built into Windows XP. Follow these steps to get the latency value to use for your connection Alrighty so now lets find our Maximum Anticipated Latency! To do this, Download a really big file such as the .NET SDK framework at http://www.microsoft.com/downloads
While this file is downloading, run over and open up Command Prompt by opening “RUN” and typing in cmd. This brings up a nice big black window. Now you need to run what is called Tracert 5 times in this box and write down the highest number you get with every tracert.
So lets get this straight you need to run tracert 5 times each time to a different site. For example
tracert google.com
When you run it let it finish…can take up to 3mins then copy down the highest number. Do this five times, then DROP THE HIGHEST AND LOWEST VALUE and average the other 3 (add them all up then divide by 3).

Everyone wants to lose a lot of weight fast. I know I did when I started my weight loss plan a year ago. Today I am 53 lbs lighter thanks to a natural weight loss plan which I followed strictly,( I am not going to detail by weight loss here, go to my site for the info). Weight loss is one thing but losing stomach fat is another. When I lost my weight I still had stomach fat which really annoyed me and I was completely frustrated. I did not follow a strict diet and exercise plan to lose stomach fat and turn my abdominal area rock hard.
The good news is that losing stomach fat doesn’t have to be as difficult as it may seem. Most people approach their stomach fat solution incorrectly, focusing on sit-up and crunches, lots of cardio and low fat or low calorie diets. While sit-ups will help you to build your stomach muscles, they don’t do anything to get rid of the fat that you carry in your midsection. That means that while you may have awesome stomach muscles they are hidden away under a layer of fat so you can’t see them. What I learned from my weight loss and exercise routine is to focus on adding muscle biggest muscle groups, here are some tips:
• 1) CRUNCHES/SITUPS – Lie flat on your back and with your knees bent; lift your shoulders off the floor without using your neck.
• 2) LEG RAISES – Lie flat on your back, raising both legs from the floor at the same time in a fluid movement.
• 3) REVERSE CURL – Lie on your back and bend your knees towards the chest, while keeping your hips on the floor.
• 4) CAPTAINS CHAIR – While sitting on a sturdy chair, grip the armrests and slowly lift your knees towards your chest. Keep your back straight and do not use your neck muscles!
• 5) FLUTTER KICKS – Lie on your back with knees bent and your feet flat. Straighten both legs and alternate lifting each leg at 45 to 90 ° angles.
• 6) FULL SITUP WITH TWIST – Lie on your back with knees bent and your feet flat. Contract your abdominals and raise shoulders off the surface. Twist shoulder towards the opposite knee and return to starting position.
• 7) STRAIGHT LEG OBLIQUES – Lie on your back and lift your legs straight into the air. Rotate your legs to either side alternatively, whilst keeping your legs straight at all times.
Also, in addition to the above exercises, you need to take a look at your diet to get the best fat loss results. Starvation diets, low fat and low carb aren’t the answer to losing stomach fat. The problem is that most traditional diets focus on losing weight rather than losing fat, and that means you can lose both lean muscle and water weight along with fat.
